Arriva the Shires
I was kindly supplied with a current allocation list for The Shires and have published an extract below which I am sure you will find interesting.
Of interest is the return to service of 3701 and 3702 (KE55CKU/O) at Milton Keynes. They have been here out of service for several months. These were new for Wycombe (Cressex)Park & ride in 2005 along with 3703. Thanks to Peter Cartwright, now some 12 years ago, he provided a picture of 3701 when brand new but with a Yorkshire registration.
I believe that 3703 had a problem and was withdrawn and no longer appears on the current fleet list of Midlands and Shires. Can anyone advise what has happened to this bus?

The brand new VDL SB120 with Wright Cadet bodywork which I was 3701 and
re-registered to the KE55xxx registration before entering service.
You can see much more of these buses on the following special OCBP page
published in September 2005!!
This picture was provided by Peter Cartwright owner of RML2440.
https://www.oxford-chiltern-bus-page.co.uk/High%20Wycombe%20PandR%20launched%20050905.htm
I am now very pleased that one can research back as far this on OCBP to answer questions.
Mike Penn provided some interesting pictures of Arriva buses.

3115 YX17NMZ, an ADL E20D MMC and one of fourteen at Luton, seen here with a 27
working on September 23rd by Mike Penn,
these buses principally for the 12 and 27 although they do stray on to
other routes including the 321.
Like those at High Wycombe it in the Arriva blue livery.

So far we have only shown these new 757 coaches in London but Mike Penn has
provided one of 7011 BP17URV in Luton
on September 23rd looking very fresh.
The older Van Hool coaches are which formed the backbone of this service are currently stored as surplus but the Levantes have been sold.

Tony Bungay provided some more Arriva photos from Oxford and Showbus 2017

3912 on a 300 working in High Wycombe taken on August 15th. I think this bus may
have now moved to High Wycombe depot?
Arriva in High Wycombe & London by Gavin Francis

Of immediate interest is Gavin's picture of 3866 in High Wycombe on November
20th.
And, why should this be? - According to the latest allocation list this bus is
supposed to be at Cannock !!!!

Citaro 3013 on the 1 in HIGH WYCOMBE on October 3rd by Gavin Francis.
Not an unusual event was the use of a Reading branded bus on the wrong route.

3617 on the 37 in HIGH WYCOMBE on October 3rd by Gavin Francis.
This bus was still carrying it Luton 27 local route branding at the time.
And now, a very well travelled Citaro.

Citaro 3918 at rest in HIGH WYCOMBE Bus Station on October 21st by Gavin
Francis.
One of the few Sapphire branded Citaros at this depot but surely more to follow.

Another time and another place seen at 3918 LUTON AIRPORT with a 321 working on
July 31s 2011 again by Gavin Francis.

By 2014 this very bus was rebranded in MK Platinum livery and is seen here by

on May 7th 2014 again by Gavin Francis.

Other Citaros now at Wycombe with Platinum MK branding in September and October
2017 by Gavin Francis.

The Luton route is highly competitive still.

And some pictures from Nigel Peach

I felt it appropriate to take a rear end shot as in the future one many not
remember how it looked.
