One wonders if they are to receive a smart blue livery or are they only on loan? Ed.

Luke Braham writes "Two recent additions to the Redline Buses fleet are Enviro200s YX64 VRG and YX64 VRF. The pair of them having been purchased from EnsignBus following the collapse of GHA Coaches and have been branded for ‘Gold’ service 21 between Milton Keynes and Lavendon."

One has to admit that Redline certainly present their buses in an excellent way. Ed.

Bill J writes "Here are two pictures of Red Rose Y842TGH at the 387 terminus at Aldbury, Stocks Pond on 11 November. The second picture is more of a 'Buses in the Landscape' attempt, which shows why the stop carries that name. The 387 from Tring to Aldbury is a durably numbered route - my oldest London Country Area bus map dates from 1956, and the route was the 387 then (operated by green T's from Tring garage as I remember, though GSs may also have been used) . It is possible that the route number even dates back to when London Transport took over the local operator in Tring in the 1930s - perhaps one of your other readers may know more than me about this. Even 1956 means that the core route has borne the same number for 60 years - unusual, and not bad for a country service which must have come close to closure at times during that period.

Y842TGH is ex-London Central - I found pictures of its previous life on the web, running the C10 route (Victoria to Canada Water).

Steve Gee writes "I have a couple of sightings for you of Red Rose vehicles "away from home".

Both seen on the Southam by-pass- the one north of Banbury. Firstly today, 22nd November, their AD E200 Dart/ Enviro 200 KX09ACU was parked in one of the lay-by's heading away from Banbury, whilst last week I noted Dart SLF/ Pointer BU05HFM in the same lay-by. I didn't realise that HFM was from the same fleet until today. I wondered if they were going somewhere for attention or if they've left the fleet?

Like the new website, it's a lot easier to navigate, I couldn't see your contact details anywhere on it though.  Well, I'll have to correct that Ed.

Another Red Rose escapee on the Southam by-pass for you today, 28th November, same time- just about 10 am. This time it was Volvo/ Plaxton President W496UGH.

It may have turned off towards Daventry...

I'd have an unsubstantiated guess that they are going somewhere for modifications. I'm afraid I mis-typed the reg for the decker today; it was W496WGH."

Nick Cherry has sent some great pictures.
